Arabella in Newport

Three-masted schooner Arabella just arrived from the Caribbean for the summer season. You can charter her or join in scheduled cruises to Maine or Long Island for a wine tour.

Some years back, Arabella was rebuilt and lengthened (like a stretch limo) here in Newport and is very well-appointed.

Visit the Arabella web site to learn more or to book a cruise.

I've been on the Arabella's mailing list for a while and keep meaning to book a week on her. Have you heard any feedback, good or bad, about their cruises?

Newport: Arabella: "Terrific Sailing adventure"
Mar 21, 2006: A TripAdvisor Member, Pittsburgh, Pa.
"Just returned from a week of sailing in the USVI & BVI aboard the Arabella. This is a beautiful sailing ship - accomodates 40 passengers; we had a crew of 8. Captain Sandy runs a great operation. The sailing crew is professional and experienced. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks were good. Dinners were at various land resturants. The itinerary and beautiful beaches and water made each day a new adventure. While this is not a "cruise" for everyone ( would not recommend children), it is a wonderfully relaxing time while enjoying the beauty of the Virgin Islands. Also met some most interesting folks and new friends on board. One of the best winter vacations we've ever experienced...and hope to do again some day."

I didn't see any negative reviews online. Sounds like fun!
